OpenEMM is a professional high-quality software for managing newsletters and marketing campaigns by mail.

OpenEMM is the first Open Source application having so many functionalities, a number of which are generally available only in commercial applications.

This software was first developed in 1999 and is used by such major companies as BenQ, IBM, Siemens, Tiscali, C&A, etc.

The reason: Vox Teneo selected OpenEMM both for its wealth of functionality and for its architecture. In addition, Vox Teneo made a major contribution to the development of certain functionalities (for example, we developed the code which allows one to do multi-customer on the same instance of OpenEMM. We also did the translations into French).

A number of functionalities which we find interesting:

  • Possibility of sending e-mails by event, by date. Use of web services possible
  • User-friendly interface and easy to use
  • Wizard for important tasks such as importing data, creating mail and exporting data
  • Excellent documentation
  • WYSIWYG text editor which makes it easy to create mails with a sophisticated design
