We became that, one revolution at a time, because at every turn our clients needed the next level up, and we'd rather learn the next craft than let them go elsewhere. Along the way we stopped being a Belgian shop and became a team spread across Europe and Asia.
Vox Teneo is born, in Brussels
A handful of people in Brussels, building institutional websites for public administrations. The name says the intent: hold the voice — say it, and stand behind it.
The web that must last
Multilingual institutional sites, built to hold for years under the watch of a public administration. "It works" isn't enough — it has to last.
Web 2.0 — the interactive turn
The page becomes an application: AJAX, dynamic JavaScript, mature CMSs. The web stops being a brochure.

When a site is no longer enough: intranets, extranets, business portals. Digitising a process, not publishing a page.
The mobile shift
The smartphone moves software into everyone's pocket. Responsive design and native apps, from the field to the dashboard.
Across the border: Luxembourg, Lille, Paris
The Belgian base grows a European footprint: a little over twenty people between Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Clients on the other side of the border stop being an exception and become part of the everyday workload.

Belgium settles in Limal
The Belgian team leaves Brussels for a manor in Limal, Brabant wallon: our own house rather than an office floor — room to grow, and somewhere clients actually enjoy coming.
We open in Skopje, North Macedonia
A second engineering hub, opened in May 2014, that puts senior European-timezone engineers alongside the Belgian team — same working day, same standards.

Engineers, designers, testers and on-call people in Louvain-la-Neuve and Bandung. We started as a handful in Brussels, grew to around twenty across Belgium, Luxembourg and France, and peaked at 150 in the five-country years; today we're back to 100, concentrated in two studios. The systems are serious; the days, less so.

We're not a virtual address. Since 2013 we've run production studios on two continents — Europe and Asia — so work handed over in Belgium is picked up in Indonesia, and the day keeps moving instead of stopping at 6 p.m. Over the years the group has also operated from Luxembourg, France, North Macedonia and Singapore; these two are where the work happens today.
