A European consumer organisation looking for first-rate web development and maintenance

The BEUC "the European Consumer Organisation" is an umbrella group made up of 46 European consumer organisations. Their task is to represent those organisations to EU institutions and defend the interests of consumers, ranging from topics such as food health and sustainability to digital rights.

For the next five years, the BEUC needed a digital partner who could update their outdated Drupal 7 website, give it a new look and help maintain the web platform they use to engage with staff members. Web developer and IT expert VOX rose up to the challenge.

Providing a durable web platform with excellent IT support

VOX got to work and rebuild BEUC’s website from the ground up. Our main focus was to build a Drupal web platform that is both long-lasting and user-friendly for BEUC’s admin staff. In addition to developing the site, VOX also took on back-end support. As the web hosting provider, we regularly provide security updates for the site, as well as fully support BEUC’s staff with website management and any technical queries.

Last but not least, VOX provided technical support for BEUC’s web-based membership platform, so members across Europe could effortlessly interact with each other. It shows how comprehensive VOX’s IT services can be. Another mission accomplished!

CSS, which stands for "Cascading Style Sheets", is a language used to stylize and colour web pages (HTML or XML) to make them more presentable.

JavaScript is a programming language that helps create dynamic web pages to improve the visitors’ interactions with the website.

Sketch, a vector graphics editor for macOS, is the main tool used by our design team to turn our clients' ideas into interactive and collaborative designs.
