Wallonia-Brussels International or WBI is a public organisation in charge of stimulating international relations for the communities of Wallonia and Brussels. To improve their internal operations, they did away with their outdated intranet and enlisted VOX to develop a secure and easy-to-manage extranet.
Wallonia-Brussels International or WBI is the public administration that promotes and supports a wide range of projects developed by the communities of Wallonia and Brussels internationally. In this way, they aim to increase the impact and influence abroad of the Wallonia-Brussels area and its members.
In the past, WBI has processed information internally using an outdated type of intranet. To make internal operations more efficient and share confidential information more securely with employees, they commissioned VOX to develop a future-proof extranet.
A well-organised and ultra-secure extranet developed by VOX
VOX’s main focus for this project was to make sure that every employee at WBI could easily access and consult working documents on the extranet, wherever they are. To this end, excellent UX design was very important. That’s why we developed the extranet to be available on both desktop and mobile devices and made it easy to navigate with transparent web design.
Finally, we provided the extranet with a convenient editing tool so employees could make daily updates to the site without having extensive computer knowledge. The result? A super-fast and accessible tool with which WBI is equipped for the future.
